Alex Basics in Biology and Zoology, often shortened to ABIBAZ, is one of MrDrNose's previous projects. It has been confirmed that it takes place in the same universe as use Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski, and some parts of it are also incorporated into AEwVS's canon and storyline. MrDrNose seems to be remaking the game as of 08/02/2022.

Premise[]
ABIBAZ has much less lore than AEwVS does, although it does have a vague storyline.
Initially, it seems to be a game very similar to Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning, even more so than the first builds of AEwVS were. This includes the low-quality "edutainment" style, the characters' mechanics, and most of the items.
In this game, the player controls Olivia, a student at Alex's school who is forced to collect notebooks to escape and avoid being caught and killed by Alex. There are many other characters who will interact with the protagonist in other ways.
However, if the player looks closely, there are a few much darker elements hidden within the game, including a severed finger, a hanged, blood-covered Alex behind one of the walls, and the ability to commit suicide via stabbing with a knife.
Ending[]
The darker aspects of the game become much more apparent when the ending is achieved. After collecting 20 notebooks, the protagonist will wake up in an unknown location. They are then forced to walk through a massive labyrinth, which can take several minutes. Along the way the protagonist will meet Scrina, who will follow them for a while. Then, she will suddenly disappear, and in the next room Scrina's disassembled body is laying on the floor, with her parts scattered around a large maze-like area. The protagonist has the option to reassemble Scrina, although nothing happens if this is done.
At the very end, Alex will suddenly lunge at Olivia in a "transformed" state. Immediately before he reaches the protagonist, however, Scrina will save them, and take them back to the outside of the school. Scrina will mention that Alex is going to be down there for "a long time", and give the protagonist her phone number before waving goodbye.
Gameplay[]
ABiBaZ's gameplay is similar to AEwVS's, albeit much more simplified. The player can only look left and right, and they cannot jump, crouch, open the inventory or craft.

Incorporations into AEwVS[]
There are a few notable references to Alex Basics inside AEwVS. The most prominent of these is Scrina's strong connection with Erie. Scrina has been shown to call Erie "mommy", and in the History Level, Scrina makes a short appearance through a portal in which she asks if Angell knows where Erie is. There is also a photo of them together, and one of her spare hands.
As confirmed by MrDrNose, Erie and Scrina have this connection because when Scrina was built, she was considered a "mistake", and was thrown in a dumpster and left there. Erie then found Scrina and took her in as her own child/sister.
As well as Scrina's role in the game's story, MrDrNose has also shown a model of a 3D Alex on the official AEwVS Twitter. He is also currently developing a "sequel" to ABiBaZ, titled Alex Basics: Scrina's Sensors, where the player controls Scrina.
Similarities[]
Alex Basics has some qualities that were later used in the making of AEwVS. Some of these include the control scheme, connections to the number 666, memes or references to memes, text-to-speech voices and gory imagery. Like versions of AEwVS prior to Alpha 0.18, it also contains some messy English, due to English not being MrDrNose's first language.

- MrDrNose has made the game to see how people would react, and later the game has become part of AEwVS.
- This is the only game by MrDrNose to have a moddable version.
