"A thing, that should be hidden" ― Torus
The Torus is a sentient entity located deep inside SCP-398 in Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski. It is hidden in the last door of the fourth passageway.
Appearance[]
The Torus is a large, golden torus that lies dormant in one of the chambers of SCP-398.
Abilities[]
- Mind Reading: Although Angellica cannot speak, the Torus is able to read her mind.[1]
- Negative Status Infliction: The Torus is able to inflict negative status effects on Angell at will, such as nausea or a stroke.
- Teleportation: While the Torus doesn't teleport itself, it can teleport other entities (such as Angell) to any room in the school.
- Item Materialization: In older versions, the Torus could make any item appear in Angell's inventory instantly.
Behavior[]
When the player interacts with the Torus, a wheel with 10 segments will appear on the screen. Each segment represents a different phrase that the player can say to the Torus, which can be seen by hovering over it. The player can then click a segment in order to say the selected phrase to the Torus and have it respond.
The Torus acts very mysteriously when spoken to, disclosing little information to Angell as it claims that it is not the right time. It will also kill her upon request without question.

- The Torus bears a strong resemblance to SCP-1968. Its abilities seem to be different, however.
- In older versions, the Torus could be used to obtain any item in the game. This function was removed for obvious reasons.
